1. Who operates RainMet

RainMet is operated by RAIMET HOLDING OÜ, Parna Puha kula, 94117 Estonia (“RainMet”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers this website and the RainMet iOS app.

2. Information handled by the website

This website does not provide account registration, contact forms or analytics. We do not use advertising trackers. The site may store your light or dark appearance choice in your browser’s local storage. You can remove it through your browser settings.

To serve the website and keep it secure, our hosting provider and the network services used to deliver it may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages and access time. This is used for delivery, security and troubleshooting, according to the provider’s own practices.

3. Information handled by the iOS app

The RainMet iOS app is designed to work without account registration or a RainMet backend. Your selected sports, theme, recent cities, active city and a locally generated support reference ID are stored on your device.

If you choose current location, iOS asks for permission to access your location while using the app. You may instead search for and select a city manually. The app uses the chosen location to request weather conditions and calculate sport scores on the device. Location permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

4. Apple services

The app uses Apple WeatherKit to obtain weather data and Apple MapKit for city search. When those services are used, Apple may process the location or search information needed to provide the results. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy terms. RainMet does not operate those services.

5. Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. The website has no user account database, and the app’s preferences remain on your device. The website host may retain technical logs for its operational and security needs. You can remove the app’s locally stored data by deleting the app; you can remove the website theme choice through your browser settings.

6. Your choices and rights

You may use a manually selected city instead of current location, change or revoke location permission in iOS Settings, and clear locally stored preferences. If applicable privacy law gives you further rights concerning information we process, you may contact us by post at the address below. Please note that we cannot access data kept only on your device.

7. Children

RainMet is a general sports weather utility. It is not designed to collect information from children through accounts, forms or advertising.
